Every year, tens of millions of single-use plastic Intermediate Bulk Containers, referred to as “one-ways,” are manufactured for chemical producers and distributors to transport and store billions of gallons of liquids. These one-ways are a significant source of plastic waste, and the environmental and community impacts of their disposal are substantial.

That’s why HooverCS enables their customers to replace one-ways with reusable IBCs constructed of stainless steel or heavy-duty plastic that often have a 25+ year useful life.

To ensure the continued success of this initiative in reducing single-use plastics, the product had to be showcased at various international congresses. 3Delft supported this mission by providing detailed small-scale models and 3D-printed containers to help present their vision to the world.
