Free tablets for student houses!

Turff

A group of students from Delft University of Technology have developed the first digital-in-home advertisement platform called Turff. It is a tablet with smart features such as a financial accounting system, a list of who will be eating at home and more. In exchange, the tablet will show screensavers with advertisements when it is not used.

The special salmon orange casings of Turff are designed, prototyped and manufactured here at 3Delft. We made sure that the casings have Turff’s corporate identity and that the ports of the tablet are protected. Our integrated process results in the ability to iterate quickly and deliver a functional product without unnecessary delays.

The first 50 tablets have already been installed in student houses in Delft. Their plan is to spread Turff countrywide. Learn more about Turff at turff.nl if you are curious about their adventure.
